No City Left Behind

"Hey Bush said it right" Mister Mayor Man blurts out to his staff. "If I was dictator I'd be able to what needs to be done!" "No interference, no objections and...hmmm....no free press!" "That guy in the Big City Times wouldn't still be hammering at me!" "Let's end this part of the meeting with a moment of silence and meditation" ...................."Okay, now let's get to work!"

And thus the secret dictatorship began. One, never spoken of, but the mechanisms were put in place. The idea was to run the city as an empire. As Mister Mayor Said that fateful day, "There is a right way to go and our intentions are good." With the City Council in his pocket and the city in financial chaos, the goals were set to establish the benevolent king. In the next year the council ended term limits permanently.

The past ten years saw the creation of two Olympic stadiums plus multiple support facilities still being built for the 2020 Olympics. Two years ago saw the grand opening of the MMM (Mister Mayor Man) Mega Mall across the river and the largest mall in the world. Through eminent domain, Harlem became the wealthiest residential gated community in the country after the seige of the area by former residents was broken. Next week we will see the beginning of the demolition Sty Town to create the Big City Super Convention Center with it's 12 hotels, 22 condo buildings and monorail across the river to the MMM Mega Mall.

MMM is proud of his achievements and has again denied plans to become President. The medium income of the city has risen to $5.200, ooo. The schools now under private ownership are projecting a profit of 12% for the year. Though the amount of schools has been reduced by 2/3 Big City Schools Inc. promised to give financial support to public schools in the low income areas of upstate and the other ecomomically distressed areas in the areas close to the city.

BCTA (Big City Transportation Authority), privatised in 2009, has promised to finally begin the long delayed "Projects to the City" upgrade to help low income workers a faster system to get to and from the city.

To complete "The Triangle" which will consist of the BC Super Convention Center, the MMM Mega Mall and the 40 berth World Cruiseship Terminal opened on Fort Thomas island in 2012, MIster Mayor Man will announce the specifics of his plan to construct the world's tallest obelisk and weather tower at the center of the river.
